Report: Making Net Zero Steel Possible

There is no argument about what the mission is - we need to cut emissions significantly and reach net-zero by 2050. Additionally, there needs to be a stop to investors engaging with carbon intensive technology and assets.

This report explores potential pathways to reduce emissions from the steel industry. The analysis that follows builds on the first edition of the Steel Sector Transition Strategy (published in October 2021) and the Steel Sector Transition Strategy Model (ST-STSM) upon which it was based.
